On 21 July 2026 WARBUD, in a consortium with MERITUM Construction Group, signed a contract to refurbish the Admissions Department to serve as the Hospital Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) at the Zagłębie Clinical Hospital in Czeladź.

The hospital was represented by its Director, Ms. Aldona Sylwa. WARBUD was represented by Mr. Lech Wąsowski – Member of the Management Board – and Mr. Piotr Tokarz – Director of the Healthcare Construction Division. On behalf of the consortium partner, Meritum Grupa Budowlana, the contract was signed by Mr. Michał Zając, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.

We will execute the project, with a total area of 1,710 sqm, on a ‘design and build’ basis. The scope of work includes the conversion of an existing vacant building to serve as a modern A&E department, as well as a redesign and construction of a hospital pharmacy, which will be adapted to serve as an admissions reception area and a night and holiday healthcare centre.

As part of the contract, WARBUD will also supply medical equipment and construct an access ramp for ambulances. The contract is scheduled for completion within 3 months from the date of its conclusion.
