Warbud will build an Intensive Care Unit and Electrophysiology and Haemodynamics Laboratory for a Warsaw Hospital

On 12 March 2012 Warbud signed a contract for the addition of a building to connector E1-2 to house an Intensive Care Unit and Electrophysiology and Haemodynamics Laboratory at the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw.

Warbud will execute the project as the Leader of a consortium with its partner - the firm Climatic Sp. z o.o. The contract was signed on behalf of Warbud SA by Mr Wojciech Gerber - Board Member and Mr Lech Wąsowski – Director.

The Investor is the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw. The project management entity and the designer is the firm WPUI Ciechanów Sp. z o.o.

Scope of works under the contract:

  • construction of the core and shell of the building,
  • building and fit-out works, including installation of special equipment in the operating theatre
  • forced ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • cooling system
  • plumbing systems
  • electrical and telecommunications systems
  • medical gases system
  • central heating and process heat systems
  • steam and condensate installations
  • as well as delivery and installation of specialist medical equipment for the Operating Theatre and the Intensive Care Unit (shadowless OR lights, anaesthesia units, medical bridges).

Total area of the building: 6650 m2
Number of floors: 4
Landscaping and roads: approx. 3500 m2
Project execution dates:  March 2012 – January 2014
