On November 29, 2011 Warbud signed a contract with the Urban Commune of Lublin for the conversion of the former Visitation Nuns monastery into an Art Activity Centre in Lublin.

It is worth remembering that in 2009 Warbud started conversion work in the building but the works were stopped due to some significant design changes resulting from archaeological findings which were very important for discovering the past of the location.  Therefore a new tender was announced.

Scope of work under the contract:

• Rebuilding of a two-storey and partially slab-on-ground building of the former Visitation Nuns monastery located at 12 Peowiaków St. in Lublin, with a habitable attic and reconstruction of the original roof covering, reconstruction of the former church, roofing of the small and medium garths, strengthening the structure of the building and adaptation to the present needs;
• In addition to that Warbud will carry out works connected with the construction and rebuilding of internal plumbing-system, internal hydrant system, central heating, forced ventilation, electrical, low current systems including the telephone system, stage sound amplification and information system, fire alarm, burglary alarm, computer network, stage lighting, lightning protection as well as floodlighting of the building and the heat exchanger and ventilation station.
  
• Architectural interior arrangement and technical equipment of the building
  
• Rebuilding of the front paved area including the removal of the roundabout and inclusion in the front area the Sorrowful Christ shrine, landscaping works around the building and nurturing of the existing trees.
  
• Rebuilding and construction of utility networks and rainwater and sanitary sewage systems, heating network, power and lighting networks, telephone systems, water connection and hydrants including the removal of conflicts with the existing infrastructure.
  

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
