According to the "List of 300 Best Polish Employers" published by Forbes, Warbud was ranked 75th in the general classification ahead of many well-known and respected brands. In the "Construction" category (including general contractors and producers of building materials), Warbud took 4th place. Considering only general contractors - the company was ranked 3rd, right after Budimex and Unibep.

Warbud has won the 13th edition of the TopBuilder competition. The award-winning construction projects - including the Mennica Legacy Tower skyscraper built by Warbud - build top quality urban space. The competition jury awards achievements of all participants of the construction process, i.e. investors, designers, developers, general contractors and solution providers. The results of the competition reflect the dynamics of development and trends in modern construction in Poland. There are more and more innovative, successfully implemented projects which reflect sustainable construction and architecture. Solutions concentrating on intelligent, innovative and energy-saving construction are now dominating the trade.

Chapter of the Top Quality Program of Quality International 2021 highly appreciated Warbud’s Integrated Management System and awarded company activities related to the implementation and promotion of the idea of quality of our services. In this year's 15th edition of the Program we received the Laureate title and the Golden Emblem in the category QI ORDER and a special mention QI Golden Pearl. We are among entities representing the highest standards, guaranteeing their clients the highest level of service.

AFI V.Offices office building built by Warbud in Krakow at 29 Listopada Avenue received the prestigious BREEAM certificate at the Outstanding level gaining as much as 98.87% of overall credits. This is the highest result in the history of the certification system of the operator BRE Global for a project located in Poland. With this result, the facility also ranks second in the BREEAM certification in the office buildings category in the world.

The subject of the contract signed on 2 March 2021 is design and construction of Central Integrated Clinical Hospital (modules 1, 2A, 2B, 3B). The project will be implemented as a design and build contract entitled Central Integrated Teaching Hospital in Poznań - Interventional Medicine Centre (Stage I). 

The construction of South Ring of Warsaw was divided into three sections. The longest section - built by Warbud SA and marked with the letter "C", stretches for 7.5 km between "Puławska" junction to "Lubelska" junction (from km 11+478.52 to km 18+949.95). The project was executed as a "design and build" project. On December 22, 2020 at 12:15 p.m. - five years after signing the contract with GDDKiA - the road was officially opened. This event was reported by major TV stations. The opening ceremony was led by Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland. Warbud SA was represented in the ceremony by Mr. Piotr Mika, Member of the Management Board and Mr. Artur Raczak, Contract Director.

In the fourth and the last in this year edition of the action named #Razemdlaszpitali (together for hospitals) we provide free meals to the medical personnel in the first line of battle against COVID-19.

The coronavirus epidemic has impacted all aspects of our lives. It has had the greatest impact on the medical personnel. Our lives and health depend on their commitment, determination and sacrifice. In this difficult time all friendly gestures are of great importance. That is why we wanted again to demonstrate our solidarity with health service personnel.  Warm and nutritious regeneration meals were distributed at the turn of November and December among doctors, nurses and paramedics working at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Wolska Street in Warsaw. In this way Polish VINCI Group companies thank medical personnel and express their special gratitude for their commitment and heroism. 

On November 30, 2020 Mr. Wojciech Gerber resigned from the functions of Member of Warbud SA’s Management Board and Director of Region Centre, and decided to terminate his employment contract with Warbud.
The position of Region Centre Director is now held by Mr. Lech Wąsowski, formerly Director of Warbud SA’s Public Procurement Division.
Cooperation with clients, mutual business and partner relations and the execution of development projects supervised by Region Centre remain unchanged.
At present Warbud SA’s Management Board consists of 7 persons.

Warbud has won a tender for the extension of a hospital complex in Wołomin. The contract was concluded on November 10, 2020. On behalf of Warbud, it was signed by Mr. Jerzy Werle, President of the Management Board and Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of Public Procurement Division. The Client was represented by Mr. Grzegorz Krynicki, Hospital Director. As part of the development project, Warbud will build two main buildings A and B, an underground tunnel connecting both facilities and a free-standing transformer station.

The number of accidents and victims on Polish construction sites has decreased. The report by the Agreement in Construction Safety demonstrated that the number of people injured in accidents on construction sites in Poland has decreased almost by half over the 10 years of the organization's operation, from 8,684 to 4,743. There are four times fewer fatalities per 100,000 people employed in the construction industry today than a decade ago. This is largely due to the activities of the association of the largest construction companies in Poland which works to improve work safety.
