    Warbud will build the second part of the external stoking system for the power plant in Jaworzno which is being built for the new 910 MW coal-fired power unit. The contract was signed on 13 June 2016. Warbud's contract covers the design work, installation, commissioning, trial run of the unit with putting the facility into operation. The scheduled date of project completion is March 2019.

    On July 11, 2016 Warbud signed a construction contract for Building B2 of the Baltic Business Centre. It is one of the most modern development projects in Tri-City, situated in BCB Business Park office complex in Gdańsk-Rębiechowo. It should be noted that Warbud was also the contractor for Phase 1 of the project - Building B1 which was opened in June 2012.

    On July 4, 2016, Warbud signed a contract for rebuilding and expansion of Atrium Targówek Shopping Centre in Warsaw. The contract encompasses the construction of an additional floor slab for the existing multi-level parking. The client is the company Atrium Poland 1 Sp. z  o.o. Targówek 2 Spółka Komandytowa. The project encompasses the construction of an additional floor slab with surface area of approx. 12 000 m² over the top floor of the multi-level parking situated between the existing shopping centre Atrium Targówek and the part of the building containing cinemas.

    The building will be the third cultural centre, in addition to Pan Tadeusz Museum in Wroclaw and Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, to be built by Warbud S.A. The temporary seat of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw will be a  "design and build" project which will be located in the direct vicinity of one of the main Warbud's showcases - Copernicus Science Centre. In less than 7 months a one-storey exhibition pavilion will be built in Captain Stanisław Skibniewski "Cubryna" Square (Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie St.) with a total area of 1 126 m² and cubic volume of 12 364 m³.

    On 7 June 2016 Warbud signed a contract for the construction of diaphragm walls for two fan stations and one metro station for the second metro line in Warsaw (phase 1 of the construction of the north-east section of the line behing C15 "Dworzec Wileński" station to the holding track behind station C18).

    Warbud has won a contract for the rebuilding and thermal modernisation of Pavilions A and A1 of Stefan Żeromski Specialist Hospital in Cracow. The contract was signed on June 1, 2016 by Mr. Damian Kamiński, Deputy Director in Warbud SA's Region South.

    On 20 May 2016 Warbud signed a contract for the construction of the core and shell of an office building with retail premises and underground parking at 70 Wspólna St. in Warsaw.

    The Investor is the company Park Avenue 2010 Sp. z o.o. and the main designer - JSK Architekci Sp. z o.o. 'Park Avenue' is a Class A office project offering approximately 12 500 m2 of modern office space for rent. The building will be situated in the very heart of the capital city, in the direct vicinity of the Marriott Hotel, Central Railway Station and Złote Tarasy Shopping Centre.

    On 13 May 2016 in the Zamoyski Palace in Warsaw the Association of Polish Architects SARP honoured the International Congress Centre in Katowice by unanimously granting to the project its ANNUAL AWARD in the category named 'best architectural project implemented in the territory of the Republic of Poland in the year 2015'. The project beat 20 other candidates to the main award selected from among 81 proposals. The awarded project was designed by the studio JEMS Architekci from Warsaw and the general contractor was Warbud S.A.

    Warbud has signed a contract for the construction of a complex of multi-family apartment buildings named 'Madison Apartments Phase 2' located at 10 Szamocka St. in Warsaw. The investor is the company Szamocka Sp. z o.o. Madison Apartments is a quiet residential complex situated in a cosy part or Żoliborz district, surrounded by a 44-hectare forest complex with a direct entrance to the Na Kole forest. Warbud will implement the development project as a general contractor.

    In the week between April 25 to 29, 2016 the third edition of the Safety Week was organized on all Warbud's construction sites in Poland The organizer of the event was the Association for Safety in the Construction Industry - an informal organisation of leading Polish General Contractors set up in 2010. The main objective of the Association is to eliminate fatal accidents from Polish construction sites.
