Opening of Neurosurgery Department at Military Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin

On December 10, 2025, new Neurosurgery Department was opened at Military Clinical Hospital No. 1 with Polyclinic in Lublin, which concluded facility expansion project.

We started execution of this phase of the project immediately after opening the Cardiology Department and Clinic. It was one of the most demanding projects, executed in a functioning hospital and under the constant supervision of a heritage conservation officer.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Investor headed by the Commander of the Hospital,  Col. Aleksander Michalski PhD. There were also guests from the Ministry of Defence, including Mr. Cezary Tomczyk, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, as well as the Deputy Voivode of Lublin and representatives of the City Hall and the Marshal's Office.

WARBUD was represented at the event by Nicolas Dépret - President of the Management Board of WARBUD SA, Lech Wąsowski - Director of Region South of WARBUD SA, Paweł Kiwak - Contract Manager, Jan Majcher - Director of the Group of Contracts at Division East, Piotr Ordon - Director of Division East, Paweł Guz - Site Manager, as well as a large construction team.

In his speech, WARBUD’s President Nicolas Dépret emphasized the unique nature of the project and the responsibility for the job which was difficult in terms of structural and organisational solutions. He spoke about the WARBUD’s extensive experience gained during construction of over 50 hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Poland, as well as about the unique solutions used in the facility, such as the reinforcement of the stone foundations of the over 100-year-old historic building with micropiles or the use of a tent roof over the entire building during the superstructure phase.

Meeting participants had an opportunity to tour the Neurosurgery Department and familiarize themselves with its equipment and capabilities. Modern infrastructure, combined with functional architectural solutions, will shorten the diagnostics time, allow more advanced therapies, and increase therapy comfort. The impressive medical equipment installed here, including in the hybrid room, opens up new possibilities for the medical staff to treat patients, thus enabling a further development of the facility.

WARBUD has another reason to feel proud.
