Yesterday, on April 10, at the seat of the Capital City Development Authority, we signed a contract for the construction of a tunnel under Railway Line No. 2 Warsaw - Terespol in Wesoła. The contract was signed on behalf of the Investor by Daniel Boruchalski - Deputy Regional Director of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA and Ewelina Degowska - Director of the Capital City Development Authority, and on behalf of our company by Nicolas Dépret - President of WARBUD SA Management Board and Kamil Simka, Managing Director and Vice-President of the Management Board of EUROVIA Polska. WARBUD SA will execute the project with the participation of EUROVIA Polska.
The company WARBUD will construct the seat of the District Court in Sochaczew at Olimpijska St. The Client is the Court of Appeal in Łódź. We signed the contract on April 8, 2025. The document was signed on behalf of the Investor by Mr. Adam Uznański, Director of the Court of Appeal in Łódź, and on behalf of WARBUD by Mr. Karol Puszerkiewicz, Director of Region North and Mr. Tomasz Jermakow, Director of the Centre Branch.
The project team will complete the task under the “build” formula within 30 months. Construction work will commence in May 2025.
During the evening Gala of the Polish Infrastructure and Construction Conference which took place on March 17, 2025, the Jury of the Competition Infrastructure and Construction Diamonds 2025 awarded WARBUD S.A. in the category Project of the Year – Buildings for the construction of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
On March 17 the 13th edition of the conference Polish Infrastructure and Construction was held in Warsaw. It hosted leading representatives of the construction industry who had the opportunity to participate in four discussion panels and numerous case studies.
The construction work on the Skyliner II office building at Warsaw’s Daszyńskiego Roundabout is moving to the next stage. After twelve months of focused efforts, WARBUD S.A. is completing underground work. Construction of the podium has started, which will connect the two towers of the Karimpol Group.
This year's 32nd edition of Welconomy Forum in Toruń took place on 3-4 March under the banner of "Polish Presidency of the EU". The nearly 2,000 participants included representatives of the government, parliament, business, agriculture, finance, local governments, as well as science, culture and health care. Discussions focussed on improving Poland’s economic, food, health, demographic and defence security, and the common denominator of the panels was a strong economy based on development-inducing investments.
During the discussion panel organised by WARBUD SA and entitled "Conditions for efficient implementation of infrastructural investments in the public-private partnership formula" we took up the topic of effective use of resources, knowledge and experience of the public sector, businesses and the financial sector and advisors for a streamlined implementation of development projects.
The construction site on which District Court in Gdynia is being expanded by addition of the new Building E (stage III of the project) is located in the centre of Gdynia, opposite the Main Railway Station. The project commissioned by the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk is a “design and build” project and the general contractor is WARBUD S.A. based in Warsaw. The detailed design of this phase, which was prepared using the BIM technology (Building Information Modelling), was developed by architects from Pracownia AA from Gdańsk.
As part of the project “Bridge rebuilding to ensure minimum clearance – road bridge at km 2.45 of the Warta River in Kostrzyn nad Odrą”, we have completed the extreme (flood) spans of the new structure and work is now underway on the construction of the river span using the cantilever method. We will soon be installing, among other things, the cable stays, i.e. suspending the superstructure, and in the near future - perform further stages of the road works related to the construction of bridge access roads.
We kindly inform you that starting from 1 February 2025, WARBUD S.A. will operate under a new logotype. The change results from the unification of the visual identification of the companies operating within the VINCI Group. At the same time the EUROVIA brand, which is included together with us in the VINCI Construction Polska holding, is also changing its logotype.
Warbud has signed a contract for the expansion, rebuilding and change of functions of the Greater Poland Specialist Centre located at Juraszów Street in Poznań. The contract was signed on 26 November 2024. Warbud, acting as the leader of a consortium will perform this task in coorperation with the company PPHU Tel-Poż-System "Iskra" sp. z o.o. The Client is the Provincial Hospital in Poznań, Greater Poland Specialist Centre, represented by its acting Director Ms. Violetta Magiera. The contract was signed on behalf of the consortium by Mr. Piotr Tokarz, Director of the Medical Construction Department and President of PPHU Tel-Poż-System "Iskra" Mr. Jacek Mroczkowski.
