On October 21, 2025, WARBUD SA signed a contract for the construction of another building (Building B) at the Jagiellonian University campus in Kraków-Prokocim.
The building will house student laboratories, practical learning rooms, medical simulation and augmented reality classes, lecture and seminar rooms, as well as university offices. It will be a place of work and study for approximately 3,000 people, including 300 academic teachers and office staff and nearly 2,500 students.
The new medical campus in Prokocim is an project financed from the university's own funds, State Treasury bonds, and the National Reconstruction Plan KPO. It is to be erected in the vicinity of the existing University Hospital, the University Children's Hospital, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Medical Library and the Collegium Medicum dormitories.
On the same day, October 21 this year, Research Building A was officially opened in Krakow-Prokocim, as part of the Medical Campus of the Jagiellonian University Medical College. The facility, the construction of which was supervised by WARBUD staff, will become a place of interdisciplinary cooperation on innovative therapies in medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology and IT.
On behalf of WARBUD SA, the event was attended by the management team headed by Nicolas Dépret, Chairman of the Management Board, and the project team.
During the inauguration ceremony, Nicolas Dépret emphasized how challenging the construction of the building was, both in technical and organizational terms.
‘This is a facility that we, as WARBUD, are truly proud of! I would like to thank our entire team who built and equipped it with commitment, professionalism and passion. It is not only a modern, educational space. It is a place where science meets advanced technology. One of the most demanding challenges of this project was the integration and coordination of the complex, specialized installations we have fitted here.’
