On October 21, 2025, WARBUD SA signed a contract for the construction of another building (Building B) at the Jagiellonian University campus in Kraków-Prokocim. The building will house student laboratories, practical learning rooms, medical simulation and augmented reality classes, lecture and seminar rooms, as well as university offices. It will be a place of work and study for approximately 3,000 people, including 300 academic teachers and office staff and nearly 2,500 students.
On October 1, 2025, the long-awaited Contractors' Agreement for BIM was launched. The initiative unites the largest general contracting companies in Poland around a common goal - to organise and standardise the principles of applying the openBIM methodology. The signatories are nine companies: ATLAS WARD, Eiffage Polska, ERBUD, Hochtief Polska, Kajima Corporation, Mostostal Warszawa, Pekabex, PORR and WARBUD SA, but the initiative is open. This is the first such a broad nationwide alliance of construction companies that have joined forces to build the future of digital construction in Poland.
On 8 October 2025 WARBUD SA’s South Region signed a contract for the construction of a building for the Imaging Diagnostics Department for the Municipal Hospital in Gliwice. The document was signed by Mr. Przemysław Gliklich, Chairman of the Hospital's Management Board, and on the part of WARBUD SA by Mr. Grzegorz Chudzik, Member of the Management Board, and Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of the South Region.
On September 30, 2025, an award ceremony was held in Warsaw in the 35th edition of the competition organised by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians. The jury selected Poland’s best construction projects in the year 2024. A golden statuette for the construction of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw was awarded to the project team and received by Mr. Maciej Urbanski, Contract Director and Mr. Daniel Jonczyk, Site Manager.
On September 10, 2025, in the awards gala of the 29th edition of the competition "Modernization of the Year & 21st Century Construction Project” held at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the team of WARBUD SA’s North-West Division received a distinction from the Competition Jury for the construction of Technologically Assisted Rehabilitation Centre for Children at Wiktor Dega Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Clinical Hospital at Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań.
In an online poll, our project received 2,715 votes. The project involved the expansion of the existing hospital by a three-storey building with a flat roof, along with accompanying facilities such as a waste storage area, internal and external utility installations, paved areas, and small architectural features. As part of the work, we also rebuilt and renovated the existing building, adapting it to the needs resulting from the expansion.
We asked for Bartosz Rogoziński, manager of the awarded construction site to share his comment on the award: ‘I would like to thank the entire staff and all those who were involved in the construction of the Centre. Thanks to your work, commitment and professionalism, we achieved success. We are particularly pleased with the distinction in the national competition "Modernization of the Year & 21st Century Building” as it confirms that joint effort and determination bring lasting results and inspire further development.’
The construction of the second phase of the Skyliner office complex, owned by the Karimpol Group, has reached the halfway point. At a height of 65 metres, the walls of the 15th floor are currently being built, which means that the structure has reached half of its target height. Each subsequent level of the building is constructed in five days. All construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of Q4 2026.
WARBUD SA was selected through a competition to act as the building contractor for the expansion of the production plant of the Company Gedeon Richter Polska Sp. z o.o. in Grodzisk Mazowiecki at 35 Graniczna St. Our new Client is part of an international pharmaceutical company specializing in the production of drugs and the development of innovative solutions in pharmacy and biotechnology. Gedeon Richter Polska has been present on the Polish market since 1994.
This year’s edition of PPP Leaders’ Forum took place on June 16, 2025 at the Copernican Revolution Workshop in Warsaw. The discussion panel entitled "Public-Private Partnership in Poland – directions for development, European models, national successes" was attended by Przemysław Szulfer, Director at VINCI Construction Usługi Wsparcia who emphasized the effectiveness of the PPP model.
On June 12, 2025, we signed a contract for the execution of the first phase of construction works for the new seat of Teatr Rozmaitości (TR) in Warsaw at Central Square, which includes the construction of the underground part of the building and reloading bays. The document was signed by Nicolas Dépret, WARBUD’s President, Grzegorz Chudzik, Board Member, and Anna Rochowska, Director of TR Warszawa. Capital City Warsaw was represented in the ceremony by the City’s Deputy Mayor, Machnowska-Top.
