Warbud gets the contract for Szczecin Philharmonic Hall
Warbud has won a contract for the construction of Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Hall in Szczecin. The Municipality of Szczecin obtained financing of the project from the West Pomerania Regional Operational Programme.

The contract signing ceremony was held on March 1 in the City Hall and was attended by the Mayor, Mr Piotr Krzystek. Warbud was represented by Mr Wojciech Gerber, Board Member and Mr Zbigniew Suszyło, Director of Region West.

The building was designed by Spanish architects from Estudio Barozzi Veiga. The building structure will be made of connected white forms with pointed roofs.

The new Philharmonic Hall will be the venue for symphonic, organ and chamber music concerts. There will be two concert halls in the building: the large hall with 953 seats and the small hall for 192 persons. On the main hall stage there will be space for a 120 person orchestra and a 110 person choir. On the wall behind the stage there will be magnificent organs. The exhibition space on the top floor will be used for the organization of various event. In the building, in addition to the rooms for artists and office space, there will also be a two-level parking lot with 157 parking spaces.
