Warbud has obtained a contract for modernization of the Siedlce - Terespol railway line

Warbud S.A. has signed a contract for the construction of civil structures for the Local Railway Control Centre Łuków - railway stations Siedlce, Łuków and Międzyrzec Podlaski under the project named "Modernization of the E20/CE20 Railway Line at the section Siedlce - Terespol, Phase 2".

The Employer is the firm Pol-Aqua  S.A., and the Investor - Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. The contract was signed on 11 December 2012.


Warbud will carry out the following works:


Siedlce Railway Station:

  • demolition of the underground passage and pedestrian bridge
  • modernization of two railway viaducts
  • construction of a tunnel under the railway track along Kilińskiego St.
  • construction of an underground passage under the platforms.

Łuków Railway Station:

  • demolition of two culverts and a pedestrian bridge
  • construction of a tunnel under the railway track along regional road No. 806
  • construction of a pedestrian bridge
  • construction of a culvert made of corrugated sheet under the railway track.

Międzyrzec Podlaski Railway Station:

  • demolition of a pedestrian bridge
  • construction of an underground passage under the platforms.

Project due dates: January 2014 - July 2015.
