Companies Warbud SA and SKE Support Service GmbH MATOC Poland 1 Spółka Jawna signed - on 13 May 2019 - a contract with SKE Support Services GmbH entitled: Transport Aviation Base Powidz, Poland. Package for preparing the land for development. The contracting party is the US Army Corps of Engineers.

The project covers preliminary work related to the preparation for construction of installations intended for storage of military equipment - the largest base of the US Army in Poland. The installations will be used to deploy of armoured brigade equipment, field and anti-aircraft artillery. The project is financed within the framework of the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP).

The area of work is 40 ha. Under the contract we will clear the areas of trees remaining after felling and perform site grading – move approx. 210 000 m³ of soil; build a ring around the area with a length of approx. 2.5 km containing power lines and sanitary networks along with a concrete road with a surface area of approx. 10 000 m². We will also build a container fuel station and fire-fighting pumping station.
