Warbud will build Lodz Toxicology Centre for the Independent Public Healthcare Centre of Central Teaching Hospital of Lodz Medical University. The project will be executed in a consortium in which WARBUD SA is the leader, and BUDOMAL Rafał Leśniak sp. z o.o. - the partner.  The contract was signed on behalf of the Consortium on July 12, 2022, by: Lech Wąsowski, Director of Warbud SA’s Region South and Rafał Leśniak, Chairman of Budomal. On the part of the Client it was signed by: Monika Domarecka, General Director of the Clinical Hospital of Lodz Medical University, in the presence of prof. Radzisław Kordek, Rector of the Medical University and other university authorities.

The construction project covers the development of the eastern part of the existing A-2 facility.

It is a four-storey building with one underground storey, partially adjacent directly and partially through connectors, to the multi-storey building A-1 in which the hospital is located. Part of building A-2, which is designed to house the Toxicology Centre, is currently at the stage of closed-in structure.

Thanking for the trust and good cooperation with the management of the hospital and university so far, Mr. Lech Wąsowski especially thanked the Warbud’s entire project team under the leadership of Tomasz Lipnicki, who have been implementing the contract with commitment and effort at the second stage of hospital CKD construction - consisting in the modernization of buildings A1 and A2. The same team will also be responsible for construction of the new Toxicology Centre.

The contract includes:

• construction of Acute Poisoning Department (Toxicology Department)

• expansion of the Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Department

• construction of an insulated driveway for ambulances

• construction of a Diagnostic Laboratory

• supply and installation of medical equipment.

Time for completion: 12 months from contract date
