Warbud is building the Piaskowy Canal in the commune of Cedry Wielkie

Warbud has signed a contract for the reconstruction of the 2.8 km long right-bank flood protection dyke in the commune of Cedry Wielkie in the Pomerania region. The contract was concluded on January 10, 2011. The Employer is the Pomerania Region Land Improvement and Water Facilities Management in Gdansk.

The contract covers the following works:

  • sealing the dyke body and base in the form of an anti-filtration diaphragm in the axis of the existing flood protection dyke along the section from km 1+430 to km 3+870, i.e. along the length of 2440 m;
  • execution of earthworks in order to restore the required parameters of the slopes and crest of the dyke after the completion of the sealing works;
  • execution of finishing works consisting in the restoration of the original turfing of the dyke, restoration of the roads (repair of the road along the dyke) and recreation of the geodetic control monuments in the dyke body.
The works are due for completion in November 2011.
