Warbud has signed a contract for designing and construciton of  two operation and maintenance centres for the S17 expressway. The contract was signed in the name of Warbud by Mr. Jerzy Werle, Vice President of the Board and Mr. Marcin Szczepaniak, Director of the firm's Region East.  The contract was signed on 25 October 2012. The Employer is the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Lublin.

Warbud will carry out the following works:

• Part 1 - designing and construction of S17 expressway operation and maintenance centre located within the "Kurów" junction in the Lublin voivodship,
• Part 2 - designing and construction of S17 expressway operation and maintenance centre located within in Kolonia Dys in the Lublin voivodeship.

Each of the parts constituted a separate job. The scope of work under the two projects:

• To develop project documentation and obtain a  construction permit.

Construction work:

• construction of enclosed structures including fit-out and equipping: administration and office buildings, workshops and garages, warehouse buildings,
• construction of the road system,
• Construction of external and internal utility networks and associated systems, including landscaping works.

Total net contract value: 35 057 314.00 PLN
Time for completion: 21 months following contract conclusion
