The building was designed by design studio Open Architekci Sp. z o.o. and the Investor is Warsaw Medical University.
Warbud as leader of a consortium will implement this project together with its Partners: companies Qumak Sekom and Imtech Sp. z o.o.
Scope of works: Warbud SA - civil works, landscaping works including greenery and roads, Qumak Sekom - electrical and telecommunications systems with external networks and connections; Imtech Sp. z o.o. - complete sanitary systems with external networks and connections and a medical gases system.
The new paediatric hospital will be built in the area of the Banacha Campus on a lot owned by the University. The hospital will have 527 beds including 430 paediatric beds, 57 neonatology beds and 40 obstetrics beds.
The hospital will be composed of three buildings connected by a glazed passage. The hospital will have 7 floors above ground: a low ground floor, ground floor and 6 floors above it. The substructure of the building will house among others a rehabilitation unit, a restaurant and a multi-storey car park with nearly 400 parking spaces. There will also be a car park on ground surface with 34 spaces. On the roof of the building there will be a landing pad for medical helicopters.
