Warbud SA, acting as a consortium leader, has signed a contract for the construction of the shopping and entertainment centre ‘Nova Park’ in Gorzow Wielkopolski. The client is the firm Synergy Investments Sp. z o.o. Warbud will perform earth works, road works as well as construction and fit-out works. The consortium partner, Mercury Engineering Polska Sp. z o.o., will be responsible for all the mechanical, electrical and telecommunications systems.

The contract was concluded on November 8, 2010. Construction work will begin in November. Their completion is scheduled in February 2012. ‘Nova Park’ will be a multifunctional shopping, services and entertainment centre, the largest building of this type in the Lubuskie region. There will be a shopping mall (groups of various shop types), a restaurant section (restaurants and a Food Court), a food market with back facilities and a warehouse, a household appliances shop, a bowling alley and a multi-storey car park. The total area of the building will be 74 000 m². The major part of the shopping centre has been designed as a two-storey partial basement building.
