Warbud will build the Salomea-Wolica section of the Warsaw-Krakow road

Warbud will build as a consortium partner a 650 m section of the Warsaw – Krakow road between the localities of Salomea and Wolica.

Warbud will build 6 viaducts, an underground passage and a pedestrian bridge and will also rebuild the railway systems (power cables, railway traffic control systems, PKP-WKD telecommunication cables, catenary network etc.)

The consortium of companies led by Eurovia Poland signed the contract on 30 December 2010. The contract covers the construction of the first section of the expressway from Warsaw to Krakow between Jerozolimskie Avenue - next to the Łopuszanska interchange now under construction and the southern bypass of Warsaw. The works will be executed between January 2011 and August 2012. The Employer is the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways.
