Warbud will design and build an indoor shooting range in Chełm

Warbud has won a contract for the construction of the first indoor shooting range in its history. The facility will perform the necessary functions to train officers of the Border Guard in the field of improving shooting skills.  

The contract was signed on 3 July 2019 by Deputy Commander of the Bug River Border Guard Unit in Chełm, col. Stanisław Michałowski and on Warbud’s part by Mr Piotr Ordon - Director of Region East.

As part of the contract implemented for the State Treasury, Warbud will design and build a type SK-25 indoor shooting range to be one of Poland’s most modern facilities of that kind. The building will be situated in the closed area of the Bug River Border Guard Unit in Chełm.

The scope of works includes the construction of:

- a shooting hall with a minimum width of 10 m and a 25-metre long shooting axis, with 5 stations with variable and fixed fire opening line together with technical, welfare and training facilities,

- manoeuvring yard with parking spaces for trucks and cars,

- access roads leading to the technical entrance zones.

Scheduled project dates: July 2019 – October 2020
