Warbud has won a contract for the expansion and modernisation of the hospital at 2 Karowa St. in Warsaw. The Employer is Duchess Anna Mazowiecka Clinical Hospital in Warsaw. The contract was signed on 19 November 2013. The procurement encompasses:

• the construction of a new entrance pavilion with a waiting room and registration desk for the outpatient clinic on the side of Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie St.,
• construction of an ambulance driveway on the side of Dobra St.,
• demolition of the existing building G and construction in its place of a new building G to be used as an entrance hall, pharmacy with a cytostatic drugs and parenteral nutrition laboratories, an outpatient clinic, gynaecological oncology and microsurgery units and an ante natal clinic,
• development of the northern yard of part A  including the refurbishment of the rooms in the middle and northern wing of the existing part of the hospital, which will house hospital laboratories, new rooms of the neonatology unit and operating theatre facilities.

Warbud's scope will also cover demolition works, central heating, technological heat, HVAC, cold and hot water installations, recirculation, hydrant, exterior and interior sanitary and rainwater sewage installations. Warbud will also carry out works connected with electrical, low voltage, fire alarm and smoke release systems, public address system, medical gases installation, access control and monitoring systems.

It is worth noting that all Warbud's building works are to be carried out without interrupting the operation of the hospital.
