On 19 September 2019 a contract was signed for the expansion, construction of additional floors and rebuilding of rooms of the medical part of University Children's Hospital located in Prof. Antoniego Gębali Street in Lublin. The contract was signed: on the part of USzD – by Hospital Director Mr. Jerzy Szarecki, MD, and on the part of Warbud – by Mr. Piotr Ordon, Director of Region East.

The scope of work covers a comprehensive and major rebuilding of the hospital with adaptation to the new functional layout and the addition of the fifth floor to segments A3 and A4. Warbud's tasks also include replacing all internal installations (water and sewage, central heating, ventilation, medical gases, electrical and teletechnical systems) and adapting the entire facility to fire protection regulations. The works will be executed in a way which does not interfere with the operation of the hospital.
