Warbud has won a tender for the extension of a hospital complex in Wołomin. The contract was concluded on November 10, 2020. On behalf of Warbud, it was signed by Mr. Jerzy Werle, President of the Management Board and Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of Public Procurement Division. The Client was represented by Mr. Grzegorz Krynicki, Hospital Director.

As part of the development project, Warbud will build two main buildings A and B, an underground tunnel connecting both facilities and a free-standing transformer station.

The contract covers comprehensive construction of Building B with a connector and obtaining an occupancy permit. The facility will house a modern clinic with a commercial and administrative part as well as a rehabilitation clinic. The three-storey Building A is to be constructed in the closed shell standard. It will house a hospital emergency department with modern equipment, an imaging and endoscopic diagnostic facility, an operating theatre with 4 operating rooms, an ICU and a Central Sterilization Room.

In order to improve vertical circulation in the existing building, an elevator shaft will be added in the middle part of Building A serving a complex of two hospital buildings.

The implementation of the project will significantly contribute to raising the standard of medical services in the entire poviat.
