Warbud won First Prize in the competition named 'Build Safely' for the construction of Aquapark complex in Koszalin. The contest was organized by the State Labour Inspection - District Labour Inspectorate in Szczecin. The award ceremony took place on 17 November 2014 in Szczecin. Warbud was represented by Mr. Zbigniew Wieczorek, Site Manager, and Mr. Jakub Szafraniec, Health and Safety Coordinator.
There were seven companies operating in the West Pomerania region who proposed their projects to take part in the competition. In the contest the jury assessed among others the technical and safety conditions on the construction sites, the way in which safe conditions of work were provided as well as timely payment of wages to workers. The company Warbud scored best and got the First Prize.
The site staff also received a congratulation letter from Mayor of Szczecin, Mr. Piotr Jedliński, who visited the site on November 20.
It is worth noting that Aquapark construction started on 27 October 2013. The total area of the facility will be 13 thousand square meters, water surface area will amount to 1.3 thousand sqm, the building will have 5 floors containing a number of attractions for the citizens of Koszalin and tourists: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, saunas, water slides, health and beauty salons, a SPA, gyms, a fitness club and food outlets.
