Warbud has received two statuettes in the contest 'Construction Project of the Year 2016'. On 27 June 2017 an award ceremony was held in the 27th edition of the contest organized by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians - PZiTB. The Jury chose best construction projects of the year 2016 in Poland.

On June 5, 2017, in the City Office of Siedlce, Mr Piotr Mika, Warbud's Board Member and Director of the Civil Engineering Division DBI, signed a  contract for construction of a tunnel under PKP railway tracks at the extension of Kilińskiego St. to Składowa St. including access ways and associated infrastructure in Siedlce.

Warsaw's Lubomirski Palace was the venue for the awards ceremony of the 7^th edition of the competition 'Firma dobrze widziana' ('Well-Seen Company') organised by Business Centre Club. The jury chose Warbud as a socially responsible company promoting the idea of involvement, effectively communicating its CSR activities, setting directions for its business policies and concentrating not only on achieving profit but also on social values. The award was collected by Warbud's Member of the Management Board, Ms. Monika Buraś.

On May 16, 2017, in Warsaw's cinema Multikino Złote Tarasy educational workshops took place for students of architecture and construction as well as for construction professionals - architects and engineers of various disciplines. Warbud, a strategic partner of the programme 'Builder for the Young Engineers' presented its own experience in a case study and expert panel. The event gathered more than 600 participants from all around Poland.

No matter how hard we compete with one another to win contracts and clients, there is one thing which for many years has been uniting the construction companies operating in Poland. That thing is safety. The construction industry in Poland has for many years been the leader of accident statistics. That is why general contractors have decided to act together. We have just started our biggest common initiative named the Safety Week which will last from May 8 to 14.

It is the third time that Warbud has been awarded the title Reliable Employer of the Year by the Chapter of Polish Competition Reliable Employer. It is a prestigious award confirming the clarity and reliability of company operation in terms of its employment policies, worker benefits and human resources management.

Warbud has obtained a contract for the construction of AFI Park office and commercial building. The contract with AFI Project 1 Sp. z o.o. was signed on March 20, 2017. On Warbud's part the contract was signed by Mr Grzegorz Chudzik, Board Member and Mr Daniel Okoński, Proxy. The Investor was represented in the contract signing ceremony by Mr Sebastian Kmieć, Chairman of AFI Europe Poland and Mr Nir Geva, Board Member. AFI PARK will be built at 29 Listopada St. in Cracow.

On March 1, 2017, Warbud signed a contract for thermomodernisation of 5 school buildings in the commune of Wiązowna in Warsaw east suburbs. It is another Warbud's contract to be implemented as a Public-Private Partnership. Warbud was represented by Mr Jerzy Werle, Chairman and Mr Mirosław Józefczuk, Board Member. The Client was represented by Mr Janusz Budny, Commune Head. Warbud will carry out the building works in a  joint-venture with Siemens.

Warbud has won a contract for rebuilding of Dąbrowszczaków St. in connection with the construction of a new 910 MW power unit at Jaworzno III power station. The Client is the company Tauron Wytwarzanie S.A.

The contract was signed on 17 February 2017. Warbud was represented by Mr Piotr Mika, Board Member and Director of the Civil Engineering Division. The Client was represented by its vice-chairmen: Mr Łukasz Brzózka and Mr Adam Kampa.

Editors of Nowy Przemysł Economy Magazine and wnp.pl portal have awarded for the seventeenth time honorary titles named 'The one who changes Polish industry'. The distinction is given to firms and persons who have had a positive impact on the changes in Polish industry and the whole economy. On behalf of Warbud SA the prize was collected by Mr Mirosław Józefczuk, Board Member.
