Warbud will expand a military hospital in Cracow

Warbud has signed a contract for the expansion and rebuilding of two building of the 5th Military Clinical Hospital with a Policlinic (SPZOZ) in Cracow. The Client is the 5th Military Clinical Hospital with a Policlinic - Independent Public Health Centre (SPZOZ).

The contract was signed on 11 August 2015. Warbud was represented by Mr Wojciech Gerber - Board Member and Mr Lech Wąsowski - Director of the Medical Construction Division DBMed.

The project covers the rebuilding and expansion of hospital buildings nos. 1 and 12 and the construction of a passenger and goods lift at building no. 1. Both facilities are protected historic buildings. The rebuilding project will cover among others the removal of supporting wall foundations, chimney cores, parts of partition walls, floors in all rooms, plaster, door and window joinery, all technical installations and the renovation or replacement of the roofs. In order to dry the basement walls in both buildings, damp-proofing injections will be made to all the basement walls which will then be dried. The work has been divided into phases, some of them will be carried out in an operating medical centre, doctor surgeries or pharmacy.
