Warbud News

Warbud S.A. the commune of Piastów near Warsaw have concluded an agreement on Public-Private Partnership for the rebuilding and expansion of Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School building. The contract was signed on behalf of the private partner by Mr. Mirosław Józefczuk - Member of the Warbud’s Management Board, Director of Finance and Administration Division DAF and Mr Przemysław Szulfer - Deputy Director of DAF. The contract was signed on April 30, 2019. 

In one year from contract conclusion Warbud will build a new three-storey school building with a library and a gymnastic hall (with a total area of approx. 4500 m²) and a pitch. In the second year of the project Warbud will thoroughly renovate the existing secondary school building with an area of nearly 2000 m². The new part of the building will be connected to the existing part by a connector passage whose roof will function as a terrace and a leisure area for students.
In the period of 20 years after the completion of the construction work Vinci Facilities Polska will provide technical maintenance services for all the facilities. The Piastów contract is the third PPP project executed by our company. Currently it is the largest local governmental PPP project in the field of construction of enclosed buildings.
