On October 11, 2023, we signed a contract for the construction of the new premises of the District Court and District Prosecutor's Office in Legionowo. The contract was signed on behalf of Warbud by Grzegorz Chudzik - Member of the Management Board and Tomasz Blecharski - Director of the Specialist Construction Region. On the part of the Client - State Treasury - Court of Appeal in Warsaw, the document was signed by Ms. Katarzyna Małaczek - Director of the Court of Appeal in Warsaw. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Justice Katarzyna Frydrych. The building will be completed until the end of 2026.

About the building

The modern facility will be located at  47 and 47A Jana III Sobieskiego St. in Legionowo, in the place of the existing building. As the seat of the District Court and the District Prosecutor's Office must operate without interruptions, construction work will be carried out in stages. Warbud is also responsible for the demolition of the current buildings, construction of the necessary infrastructure and landscaping works. 

The total area of the Court building will be 7,231.49 m², and the Prosecutor's Office building - 2,411.68 m². The two energy-efficient facilities will be equipped with a number of systems ensuring safety, internal and external communication, and efficiency in terms of work organization and efficient customer service. The court building will be adapted to the needs of the disabled and will have ten courtrooms. The audio-video solutions installed there will allow videoconferencing and remote hearings. Inside the facility there will be friendly interview rooms, a library and a reading room, as well as a conference room and an archive with an area of almost 450 m². The facility parking lot will offer 122 parking spaces.
