Warbud showered with awards in the competition 'Building Project of the Year 2014'

In the 25th jubilee edition of the competition Building of the Year, all projects proposed by Warbud got very high marks from the jury.  Our firm was the only one who won as many as two golden statuettes in the same category - cultural and art facilities and one silver statuette in the category of health care facilities. A big surprize and a great honour for Warbud was the award to the company a distinction for "Services to Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PZITB)" for long-term cooperation.

Our winning projects:

  • Seat of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice - 1st place, golden statuette and the title "Construction Project of the Year 2014"
  • Szczecin Philharmonic Hall - 1st place, golden statuette and the title "Construction Project of the Year 2014"
  • Woman and Child Health Centre in Zabrze - 2nd place and silver statuette.

The celebration of the 25th anniversary of the PZITB and the awards gala took place on 23 June 2015 in the historic building of the Association of Engineers and Technicians at Czackiego St. in Warsaw. The idea of the competition was created 25 years ago with the birth of Polish professional self-government institutions. Since the year 1989 there have been 1500 participants.  Now it is one of the most prestigious and significant competitions in civil engineering. Proposed projects undergo a three-phase assessment procedure throughout the whole year. The assessed elements are the quality of work, organization of the building and financing process and the impact of the project on the environment and economy of the region.

Warbud's award were received by its representatives Ms. Jolanta Grocholska, Board Member, Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of the Medical Construction Division DBMed, Mr. Adam Wieczorek, Project Manager, Mr. Artur Jeżewski, Contract Manager, Mr. Grzegorz Strzelczyk, Site Manager and Ms. Agnieszka Wąsowska, Manager of the PR Department.
