Warbud to build Phase 3 of the Radiation Therapy Centre for the MSW Hospital in Warsaw

Warbud has signed a contract for the execution of Phase 3 of the Radiation Therapy Centre for the MSW Hospital in Warsaw. The Employer is the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior in Warsaw. The contract was signed on 9 September 2015.

At present the work encompasses the basement of the building with drainage systems. Warbud is the main contractor for the project involving the completion of other building and installation work together with obtaining an occupancy permit for the facility.
On the ground floor of the building there will be a central registration facility, doctor and treatment rooms and welfare rooms for the personnel. On floors 1 and 2 there will be an oncology unit with 49 beds and a cytostatic drugs laboratory. In the basement there will be 3 radiation bunkers with control rooms and patient cabins. There will also be a CAT scanning and brachyterhapy laboratories.
The Radiation Therapy Centre is situated along the underground tunnel connecting the building with the main hospital complex. The tunnel will be used by patients from the central admission room. The tunnel will also be used for the transportation of materials such as medicines, dressings, linen and meals.
