Warbud to rebuild and expand a hotel in Katowice
On August 2 Warbud signed a contract for expansion and addition of floors to the existing "Diament Plaza" hotel in Katowice. The Client is the company Diament Investment sp. z o.o. sp. k. and the design was developed by Konior Studio.
Warbud's scope of work covers:
- Construction of a new building with 89 hotel rooms, designed as a five-storey house with dimensions matching the neighbouring property, following the traditional development lines of Dworcowa St.
- Addition of two floors to the existing hotel building with the shape of a mansard roof in the front.
The hotel will be built at Dworcowa St. which will undergo a comprehensive modernization and obtain a new modern look.
Total area of the new hotel part: 6 000 m2
Cubic volume of the whole building: 32 310 m3
Scheduled dates: September 2017 - September 2018
