On  April 12, 2023, WARBUD signed the contract for the rebuilding and modernization of the Aquapark in Polkowice. On behalf of WARBUD, in the presence of numerous journalists, the contract was signed by company Directors Lech Wąsowski and Grzegorz Koprowski, and on behalf of the Client - Paul Lóssa, Chairman of AQUAPARK Polkowice - Regional Centre for Recreation and Rehabilitation.

The Polkowice Aquapark was opened in May 1998, being the largest recreational complex of this type in Poland at the time. 25 years after its opening, the facility will undergo a real revolution. The long-awaited modernization of the main swimming pool hall will last 15 months.

As part of the rebuilding project, WARBUD will perform the following works:

• replace the roof structure over the swimming pool hall with a gable roof covered with a roof membrane,
• build a new entrance area,
• replace external window joinery in the facility, excluding the swimming pool section,
• enlarge the sauna area and design a relaxation area with a jacuzzi tub with high-salt water,
• replace water attractions, including an indoor water slide and outdoor slides with insulation,
• remove a "rapid river" and designing a three-lane slide for children in its place,
• extend the changing room with a zone for the disabled, connected to the family changing room,
• perform thermal modernization and install a new facade of the building
• replace the swimming pool hall finish.

In addition to that WARBUD will modernize the ventilation and air conditioning system; water and sewage systems, process heat, central heating systems, external networks, swimming pool water technology, electrical installation and will install a BMS monitoring system.

The tasks of our company also include modification of the landscaping of the external area regarding the rebuilding and extension of car parks and area lighting.
