Warbud News

On 19 January 2016 Warbud signed a contract for renovation and modernization of the Pac Palace in Vilnius. The building is situated at 3  Šv. Jono St. (Saint John Street) in Vilnius Old own. The Client is the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Lithuania. Warbud will execute the project in joint venture with its Lithuanian partner, the company LAKAJA.

Warbud has signed a contract for the construction of a new building with an underground garage and an underground connector with the existing Building K of the parliament complex at Wiejska St. in Warsaw.
The contract was signed on 14 January 2016. The investor for the project is the Chancellery of the Polish Sejm. The building was designed by architectural studio Stelmach i Partnerzy Sp. z o.o.

Warbud S.A. took first place in the 'Build Safely' contest for popularising safe and healthy conditions of work on the construction site of 'Wroclaw 101' office building situated at 101 Piłsudskiego St. in Wroclaw.

The award ceremony was held on 17 December. The objective of the competition is to promote those building contractors who provide safe working conditions.

On 16 December 2015 Warbud signed a contract for the execution and coordination of building work in Złota 44 apartment building in the heart of Warsaw. Under the contract the company will carry out building works in the apartments, staircases and lift lobbies. Warbud will also coordinate other works connected with the building and carry out landscaping work.

On 11 December 2015 Warbud S.A. signed a contract for designing and construction of Section C of the Southern Bypass of Warsaw - S2 Expressway from 'Wał Miedzeszyński' junction to 'Lubelska' Junction with a length of approx. 7.5 km.  The Employer is the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).

On 11 December 2015 the seat of the Union of Polish Architects SARP was the venue for the awards ceremony in the competition for the best construction project in the year 2014 with the use of the reinforced concrete technology. Warbud received the First Prize for the construction of the Seat of National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.

On 26 November 2015 the seat of the Polish Olympic Committee in Warsaw was the venue for the awards ceremony of the 16^th edition of the contest "Builder of Polish Sports". One of the winners of the award given by the Sportowa Polska club was the company Warbud S.A. who had won the "Top-Notch Company" title for the construction of the Water Park in Koszalin. It must be added that investors often praised their contractors or suppliers and some of the nominations in the category Top-Notch Company were proposed by the satisfied investors. Warbud was represented by Mr. Piotr Pazderski - Project Manager responsible for the winning construction project.

Warbud will build Phase 3 of 'Ogrody Naramowicke' housing and shopping complex in Poznan. The contract also encompasses obtaining an occupancy permit. The Client is the firm Ogrody Różane. The contract was signed on 23.11.2015.

On October 4, 20915 a special run named 'Outpacing Cancer' was organized by the Marshal Office of the Łódź region, Copernicus Hospital in Łódź and the Sports and Health Academy.

The purpose of the event was to popularize physical activity and disseminate knowledge on cancer prevention. The run took place in the Łagiewniki forest. There were crowds of participants attracted by the sunny and warm weather.

Warbud S.A. gained the recognition of the Jury and received the Laureate title and the Golden Emblem award in the QI Oder category for top quality management. This was the confirmation of our care to provide top quality services and the implemented quality standards.
