The Silesia region is Poland’s most densely urbanized area with the highest population density. Upper Silesian Metropolitan Union is located here which is the largest urban complex in Poland - representing enormous investment potential. Extensive transport and communication infrastructure supports the development of industry. The region offers extensive investment opportunities. It is also notable that Katowice Special Economic Zone is located in Silesia - it is the leader among Polish special economic zones.

The Opole region is at the forefront of areas most conducive to locating foreign capital. Its advantages are rich natural resources giving the opportunity to specialize in operations supporting the construction industry.

In our activity, we focus on acquiring and implementing projects mainly of industrial, commercial and public utility profile, for both public and private clients. We are also interested in special-purpose facilities, i.e. power generation facilities.

Warbud’s flagship investments implemented with the participation of our Branch in Katowice which invariably attract attention and which earned us many awards are as follows:

• Seat of National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice
• International Congress Centre in Katowice

Those buildings are located in the new district of the city - the Culture Zone and refer to the architectural motifs characteristic of Silesia.

• Execution of reinforced concrete works (including construction of the bottom plate of the engine room foundation, turbo-generator foundation, construction of concrete and reinforced concrete structures of the electrical aisle building and auxiliary devices) for a 910 MW power unit with supercritical parameters at Jaworzno III Power Plant - Power Plant II
• Design, assembly, commissioning, trial operation and commissioning of the second part of the external coaling system for a new power unit with supercritical parameters with a capacity of 910MW at Tauron Wytwarzanie SA - Branch Jaworzno III Power Plant in Jaworzno
• Katowice System of Integrated Transfer Hubs - Brynów Pętla Transfer Hub
• Construction, expansion and rebuilding of low-emission public transport infrastructure in Opole - Stage II Part 1 - Rebuilding of public roads and construction of a transfer centre at Opole Główne railway station
• Construction of public administration building "Centrum Usług Publicznych" in Opole - Task 1 and Task 2
