    On 28 September 2021 General Meeting of Shareholders decided to change the composition of Warbud SA’s Management Board. New Management Board was then appointed composed of: Mr. Sebastien Morant - acting President of the Management Board, Ms. Małgorzata Kończal and Mr. Grzegorz Chudzik - Board Members.

    On October 4, 2021, we started the eighth edition of the Safety Week a festival of responsibility and common sense at work, uniting and integrating the entire construction industry. It will last until October 10 and offers participants workshops, competitions, demonstrations of modern safety solutions, lectures and demonstrations.

    On September 28, 2021, the annual Construction Project of the Year competition was resolved. In this year's edition, Warbud was honored with two gold statuettes for the construction of POW - Southern Warsaw Ring Road motorway project, section C, and for the construction of the Skyliner skyscraper in Warsaw's Wola district.

    Buildings from the region have been evaluated in the competition "Masterpiece of Building Art" organized by the Pomerania-Kujawy Chamber of Construction.  In the category of public buildings, the joint winner was Warbud with Pracownia Architektoniczna AA sc. for their District Court Building in Toruń.

    Warbud has won a construction contract for the modernization and expansion of Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum Campus in Krakow Prokocim - Stage I. The Investor is the Jagiellonian University - Collegium Medicum in Krakow.

    Warbud engineers will rebuild the road bridge over the Warta River in Kostrzyn nad Odrą. The contract was signed on 16 July 2021. The document was signed on behalf of Warbud by Mr. Zenon Kozdrowicki, Deputy Production Director. The project is implemented out by Państwowe Gospodarstwo Wody Polskie, with the support of the company Sweco Polska Sp. z o.o. as a Consulting Engineer. The project is financed  by International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) and the Council of Europe Development Bank, with the support of the Cohesion Fund and the state budget.

    On June 14, 2021, Warbud signed a contract for construction works as part of the project "Implementation of new waste processing and recovery processes in order to increase the recycling levels in the Eastern Region of Lower Silesia.” The investor is Zakład Gospodarowania Odpadami Gać sp. z o.o.

    Warbud will execute this contract in a consortium with ZTOŚ Foleko sp. z o.o. Warbud’s share amounts to 71.42%.

    Warbud has won a contract for the construction of a new building in the hospital complex at 4 Arkońska Street in Szczecin. The building will house infectious disease wards and specialist clinics. The company is also responsible for external installations and landscaping works.

    On Warbud’s part the contract was signed by Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of Centre Region and Mr. Dariusz Matulski, Director of the Public Procurement Division. On the part of the Client the contract was signed by Ms. Małgorzata Usielska, Director of the Independent Public Provincial Complex Hospital in Szczecin. The document was signed on June 15, 2021.

    A unique exhibition has been put up in front of the Paediatric Hospital of the Medical University of Warsaw. ‘Zaczytane Ławki - Benches engulfed in books’ are pieces of artistic street furniture in the shape of open books, each of which refers to the world of literature. The benches give access to free audiobooks. The founder of the exhibition is Warbud Foundation.  Each Bench is equipped with a plate with a QR code to download a free audiobook. The exhibition may be visited until July 2 - free of charge, regardless of the time of day and the weather.

    On 29 April 2021 Warbud’s special purpose vehicle and the Commune of the City of Płock concluded a Public-Private Partnership contract agreement for the construction of a Sports and Recreation Centre in Płock. The document was signed on behalf of the private partner by Mr. Jerzy Werle, President of Warbud SA’s Management Board and by Mr. Mirosław Józefczuk, Member of the Management Board. On the part of the public partner the contract was signed by Mayor of Płock Mr. Andrzej Nowakowski. ‘The construction of the Aquapark in Płock is one of the largest contracts which the city has recently signed. It is worth investing in this facility as it will allow us to make the dreams of children and adolescents come true. Older generations will also use the facility. The construction of the Aquapark will also change the Miodowa housing estate and will revive this area of Płock. The city and the region will become more attractive,’ he said.
