    In the period from September 24 to 27, 2019, Quality Certification Centre organised 15th Conference on 'Standardization, quality and codification in the aspect of integration with NATO and the European Union' - QUALITY - PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS under the honorary patronage of Rector - Commander of the Military Technical Academy, brigade general Tadeusz SZCZUREK, PhD, Eng., professor at Military Technical Academy.

    On 19 September 2019 a contract was signed for the expansion, construction of additional floors and rebuilding of rooms of the medical part of University Children's Hospital located in Prof. Antoniego Gębali Street in Lublin. The contract was signed: on the part of USzD – by Hospital Director Mr. Jerzy Szarecki, MD, and on the part of Warbud – by Mr. Piotr Ordon, Director of Region East.

    Warbud will design and build Subcarpathian Science Centre (PCN) in Tajęcin, which will be located in the vicinity of G2A Arena Exhibition and Conference Centre and Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The design stage will last 10 months and the entire facility will be completed in May 2022. PCN is the first science centre in the Subcarpathia Voivodship and the second facility of that type in Poland.

    On August 14, 2019, Warbud signed a contract to design, build and obtain an occupancy permit for two facilities at the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław. The Centre for Experimental Animal Infections with permanently built-in equipment as well as the Centre for Applied Biology and Innovative Food Production Technologies which are part of the planned priority project named ‘Regional Centre of Innovative Technologies for Production, Processing and Food Safety of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław" as part of the Regional Operational Program of the Lower Silesian Voivodship, 2014-2020, Priority: 1 Enterprises and Innovations, Action: 1:1 Strengthening the R&D and implementation potential of universities and scientific units. The Employer is the University of Life Sciences in Wroclaw.

    Warbud has won a contract for the construction of the first indoor shooting range in its history. The facility will perform the necessary functions to train officers of the Border Guard in the field of improving shooting skills.  

    The contract was signed on 3 July 2019 by Deputy Commander of the Bug River Border Guard Unit in Chełm, col. Stanisław Michałowski and on Warbud’s part by Mr Piotr Ordon - Director of Region East.

    On June 5, 2019, Association buildingSMART Polska and buildingSMART International entered into an agreement regarding the formation of the Polish branch of the organization. The signed agreement recognizes the Association buildingSMART and officially gives it a rank of the national branch of that international organization.

    Companies Warbud SA and SKE Support Service GmbH MATOC Poland 1 Spółka Jawna signed - on 13 May 2019 - a contract with SKE Support Services GmbH entitled: Transport Aviation Base Powidz, Poland. Package for preparing the land for development. The contracting party is the US Army Corps of Engineers.

    Warbud and Erbud as well as Polish Association of Construction Employers jointly implement the project "Our Pupil - Our Employee - development of a model program of practical apprenticeship for the construction industry."

    This program was financed from the European Social Fund under the Priority Axis II of the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 "Effective public policies for the labour market, economy and education" (Measure 2.15 Vocational education and training adapted to the needs of a changing economy). The co-financing amount is PLN 1,411,647.00.

    For the first time in the history of the Agreement on Construction Safety, during this year's Safety Week, a professional First Aid Championship was organised. This pioneering and exciting event took place on May 14-15 and the arena of the participants’ struggle was a picturesque leisure complex in Sierpc. Twelve three-person teams representing the signatories of the Agreement stood up for the fight for the champion title: Budimex, Erbud, Hochtief Polska, Karmar, Mostostal Warszawa, Polimex-Mostostal, Mota-Engil Central Europe, Porr, Skanska, Strabag, Unibep and Warbud.

    On May 13-19, 2019, the sixth edition of Safety Week will be organised on several hundred construction sites across Poland. The patron of the campaign is the Chief Labour Inspector. The slogan of this year's edition is "Never go shortcuts". On all the construction sites of the signatories of the Agreement on Construction Safety a special poster was displayed advertising the event.

    The campaign is organized by the Agreement on Construction Safety - an informal association of leading Polish general contractors. The Association has been operating for 9 years now. The Agreement was established in order to eliminate accidents on construction sites by promoting safe behaviour, improving safety standards and working conditions and developing health and safety culture.
