Companies Warbud SA and SKE Support Service GmbH MATOC Poland 1 Spółka Jawna signed - on 13 May 2019 - a contract with SKE Support Services GmbH entitled: Transport Aviation Base Powidz, Poland. Package for preparing the land for development. The contracting party is the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Warbud and Erbud as well as Polish Association of Construction Employers jointly implement the project "Our Pupil - Our Employee - development of a model program of practical apprenticeship for the construction industry."
This program was financed from the European Social Fund under the Priority Axis II of the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 "Effective public policies for the labour market, economy and education" (Measure 2.15 Vocational education and training adapted to the needs of a changing economy). The co-financing amount is PLN 1,411,647.00.
For the first time in the history of the Agreement on Construction Safety, during this year's Safety Week, a professional First Aid Championship was organised. This pioneering and exciting event took place on May 14-15 and the arena of the participants’ struggle was a picturesque leisure complex in Sierpc. Twelve three-person teams representing the signatories of the Agreement stood up for the fight for the champion title: Budimex, Erbud, Hochtief Polska, Karmar, Mostostal Warszawa, Polimex-Mostostal, Mota-Engil Central Europe, Porr, Skanska, Strabag, Unibep and Warbud.
On May 13-19, 2019, the sixth edition of Safety Week will be organised on several hundred construction sites across Poland. The patron of the campaign is the Chief Labour Inspector. The slogan of this year's edition is "Never go shortcuts". On all the construction sites of the signatories of the Agreement on Construction Safety a special poster was displayed advertising the event.
The campaign is organized by the Agreement on Construction Safety - an informal association of leading Polish general contractors. The Association has been operating for 9 years now. The Agreement was established in order to eliminate accidents on construction sites by promoting safe behaviour, improving safety standards and working conditions and developing health and safety culture.
Warbud S.A. the commune of Piastów near Warsaw have concluded an agreement on Public-Private Partnership for the rebuilding and expansion of Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School building. The contract was signed on behalf of the private partner by Mr. Mirosław Józefczuk - Member of the Warbud’s Management Board, Director of Finance and Administration Division DAF and Mr Przemysław Szulfer - Deputy Director of DAF. The contract was signed on April 30, 2019.

On March 20 a group of fifteen students from Stanisław Noakowski Secondary Technical School of Architecture and Construction in Warsaw visited our office in Warsaw. As part of the 16th edition of the Entrepreneurship Day program, the young people were able to get acquainted with jobs in such departments as: Tendering Department, Planning and Scheduling Department, Structural Design Team and Implementation Department. During a few-hour visit, the students got to know the specificity of work, the scope of duties, everyday tasks and what the necessary skills to perform work in a specific position.
On March 21, in the Zamojski Palace in Warsaw, Mr. Krzysztof Trzaska, Director of Branch North of Warbud’s Centre Region, received on behalf of the Consortium Warbud-Hochtief the statuette TOPBuilder 2019 for the construction of the Museum of the Second World War.
The staff of the Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Poznań was awarded in the "Build Safely" competition. The award was received by Project Manager Mr. Andrzej Szczęsny during a ceremony which took place on February 12 at the Budma 2019 International Poznań Trade Fair.
On February 28, 2019, Warbud and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw signed a contract for the construction of the facility. The contract was signed on behalf of the Investor by Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw and Joanna Mytkowska, director of MSN in Warsaw. On behalf of the general contractor by Jerzy Werle, Chairman of Warbud SA Management Board and Wojciech Gerber, Board Member.
