During a special gala held in Palmiarnia Restaurant in Zielona Góra on November 20, 2024, District Labour Inspectorate in Zielona Góra summarized their preventive and promotional projects implemented this year. Winners were chosen for actions taken to improve work safety. Warbud SA received a distinction in the "Build Safely" competition for the construction of the Bridge in Kostrzyn nad Odrą. The competition recognises outstanding health and safety measures undertaken during the execution of a specific construction project. The diploma was received by Ms. Dagmara Grzegorczyk, Site Assistant and Mr. Andrzej Piotrowski, Site Manager.
On September 24, 2024, an award ceremony was held in Warsaw in the 34th edition of the competition organised by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians. The jury selected Poland’s best construction projects of the year 2023. The golden statuette for the construction of Sports and Recreation Center in Płock was awarded to Marcin Krzykwa, Contract Manager, Tomasz Sierzputowski, Site Manager and Piotr Niesłuchowski representing the Investor – the City of Płock.
The Jury of the Competition assesses the quality of works, technology of construction, building solutions and their technical advancement, organization of the construction process, financing of the project and the impact of the investment on the environment. Verification takes place in three stages throughout the year.
Warbud won the 16th edition of the Top Builder competition. The competition jury awards achievements of all participants of the construction process, i.e. investors, designers, developers, general contractors and solution providers. The results of the competition reflect the dynamics of development and trends in modern construction in Poland. There are more and more innovative, successfully implemented projects which reflect sustainable construction and architecture. Solutions concentrating on intelligent, innovative and energy-saving construction are now dominating the trade.

The award ceremony took place on 9 May 2024 at the headquarters of Polish Architects’ Association in Warsaw at ul. Foksal 2 in the Zamojski Palace. At the gala, the site staff was represented by Mariusz Ruszowski and Marcin Krzykwa from Warbud.
On 24 October 2023 awards were given to winners of the contest "Facility of the Year" organized by Mayor of Toruń. The ceremony took place at the Centre for Contemporary Art "Znaki Czasu" in Toruń. Among the guests were representatives of the local government with Mayor Michał Zaleski. Seven buildings got distinctions in the 2021-2022 edition. The District Court in Toruń built by Warbud also won an award in the "Public Utilities" category. The diploma was received by Mr. Piotr Pazderski, Project Manager at Warbud SA.
The competition "Facility of the Year" has been organized since 1994. Its goal is to promote contemporary architecture, present the most valuable projects and, above all, reward investors, designers and contractors. The assessment covers the impact of a facility on the city skyline and its integration into the surrounding area, creating attractive public spaces and improving their aesthetics and functionality.
Subcarpathian Science Centre 'Łukasiewicz' has won laurels in an industry competition for the fourth time. This time, the facility became a finalist of the competition ‘Modernization of the Year and & Construction Project of the 21st Century.’
The goal of the competition is to reward investors, contractors and designers for a specific construction project as a joint work of all three participants. Its aim is to choose construction projects which stand out for their special qualitative, functional, urban and aesthetic values.
On September 27, 2023, a Gala announcing the results and awarding prizes took place at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. This is a significant place for Polish culture. For centuries, the Castle was a royal residence, a meeting place for the Parliament and an administrative and cultural centre of the country. Splendour was added to the ceremony by a concert of the Song and Dance Ensemble "Śląsk". The award was received on behalf of Warbud by Mr. Jan Majcher, Director of the Contracts Team of the Company’s Region East.
The golden statuette and the title "Building Project of the Year 2022" for the construction of PCN Łukasiewicz were collected by Mr. Paweł Kiwak, Project Manager, and Mr. Maciej Kurowski, Site Manager. The award granted to Warbud honours the 33-month work of our staff and at the same time confirms that our project was among Poland’s best development projects in the last year. The gala took place on September 19, 2023 in Warsaw.
On May 18, 2023, a TOP Builder awards gala took place at the Olympic Centre in Warsaw. Warbud won its 15th edition. The award-winning construction projects, services and products - including the Brama Oławska office building completed by Warbud - create top-quality urban space. The building built for the company Tower Inwestycje occupies the best location in the city, contains environmentally friendly technical solutions and constitutes a harmonious combination of technology with the classic character of Wroclaw’s Old Town.
At the gala, Warbud was represented by Mr. Sławomir Mortka, Deputy Director in the Specialist Construction Region. ‘I thank you all on behalf of my colleagues from the construction team. This is a great award for the engineering staff but also for every site worker involved in this project,’ said S. Mortka. ‘This is also a confirmation that the building that today adorns the center of Wrocław was built in accordance with top quality standards and best building practices.’
The Podkarpacie Science Center "ŁUKASIEWICZ" won a prize in the category Project of the Year - Construction of a Building. The Jury appreciated modern technological solutions and high quality workmanship, significantly standing out from the competition. The award was collected on behalf of the construction team by Mr. Paweł Kiwak, Contract Manager at Branch East and Mr. Maciej Kurowski, Site Manager. ‘I feel really proud. The more so that it is the second facility of this type and scale in Poland after the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw which was built by Warbud,’ said Mr. Kiwak, emphasizing that it the success would not be possible without the involvement of all employees.
The construction project Łukasiewicz Science Centre has already won a laurel in the "Build Safely" competition. In November 2022, the competition jury appreciated Warbud SA by awarding to the company the first place at the regional level of the competition to Subcarpathia Łukasiewicz Science Centre project. In January 2023, the project qualified to the finals, winning the third place at the national level. The objective of the competition is to promote building contractors who provide safe workplaces during the construction process and in particular, take above-standard measures to promote health and safety. The competition is organized regularly by the National Labour Inspectorate. Its partner is the Agreement on Safety in Construction. The competition takes place in two stages: at the regional level and then at the national level.
On November 9, 2022, in the headquarters of the District Labour Inspectorate in Rzeszów, prizes were awarded in the competition "Build Safely". The Jury appreciated the work of Warbud SA staff by awarding the first place to the project named Podkarpackie Science Centre ‘Łukasiewicz’ in Jasionka. Warbud was awarded as the general contractor of the District Court building in Toruń at 1 Władysława Warneńczyka St. The award gala of this year's 26th edition of the competition "Modernization of the Year & Construction Project of the 21st century" took place on 28 September 2022 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

On September 20, 2022, the "Construction Project of the Year" competition organized by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians was resolved. The jury selected Poland’s best construction projects in the year 2021. Among them there were two facilities built by Warbud.
In the 32nd edition of the competition Warbud was honoured with a golden statuette and the title Construction Project of the Year, as well as with a Special Award for the revitalization of the Norblin Factory in Warsaw's Wola district. They award was received by Artur Jeżewski and Daniel Jonczyk - representing the project staff. Our engineers were the only winners invited by the organizers to give presentations on the project and the numerous challenges which the builders faced in the construction process.
In turn, Hubert Belicki, Łukasz Stalony and Zdzisław Zaręba from Warbud received a silver statuette for the construction of Orange Warsaw Data Hub near Warsaw.

The "Building Oscars" are a unique distinction for direct participants of the construction process.
On April 20, 2022, a TOP Builder awards gala took place at the Olympic Centre in Warsaw. Warbud won in its 14th edition. The award-winning construction projects, services and products - including the Varso Tower completed by Warbud - build top quality urban space.
At the award ceremony, Warbud and the site crew were represented by Grzegorz Strzelczyk, Mariusz Grzegrzółka, Seweryn Bodus, Paweł Okruch, Tomasz Bąbała and Aneta Kokoszka and Kamila Rodzajewska.
Varso Tower is not an ordinary building which is just tall. This is an absolute idea, an architectural vision by Norman Foster, which was commissioned by HB Reavis - the Investor and at the same time the General Contractor for the facility. Warbud SA was responsible for the construction of the reinforced concrete structure of the 310-metre-high skyscraper dominating Warsaw skyline.
The culmination of the conference Polish Infrastructure and Construction 2022 was the "Diamonds, Infrastructure and Construction" gala, during which industry market leaders received their awards. Warbud was among the winners and received an award in the category Project of the Year - General Construction category for the upgrading of the Norblin Factory in Warsaw. Our company was represented by Mr. Nicolas Dépret, President of the Management Board.
On September 28, 2021, the annual Construction Project of the Year competition was resolved. In this year's edition, Warbud was honored with two gold statuettes for the construction of POW - Southern Warsaw Ring Road motorway project, section C, and for the construction of the Skyliner skyscraper in Warsaw's Wola district.

Buildings from the region have been awarded in the competition "Masterpiece of Building Art" organized by the Pomerania-Kujawy Chamber of Construction. In the category of public buildings, the joint winner was Warbud with Pracownia Architektoniczna AA sc. for their District Court Building in Toruń.

Warbud has received a golden statuette for the construction of the University Hospital in Krakow-Prokocim. The award ceremony was held on September 3, 2020 in Warsaw. It was the 30th jubilee edition of the contest organised by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians PZIiTB. The jury selected Poland’s best construction projects of the year 2019. The award was collected by: Ms. Lucyna Duszyk, UH infrastructure director - representing the Investor and Mr. Tomasz Blecharski, Director responsible for supervision over the construction of the hospital, and Mr. Łukasz Gombarczyk from Porr. Rafał Pyrzanowski and Rafał Ossowski from Warbud were also present at the gala.

The safest construction site in the Lubelskie Voivodeship was the site of the Institute of Psychology and the Faculty of Political Science of UMCS University at Głęboka Street in Lublin. The project has been implemented since December 2018 by the team of Region East. This is our third construction site receiving an award this year for high OHS standards and attitudes regarding labour protection on the construction site.
On November 22, 2019, a gala was organised in the Column Hall of the Lublin Voivodship Office closing the preventive and promotional activity of the District Labour Inspectorate in Lublin. Our firm was represented by Mr. Jacek Kwaśny - director of contracts and Mr. Marek Braszko – site manager.
The aim of the competition is to promote safe and hygienic working conditions on construction sites, including the promotion of construction works contractors who provide safe workplaces in the process of construction and contribute to an overall increase in the level of work safety in construction.
Our two construction sites have won awards in the competition 'Build Safely 2019'. Our standards and achievements in ensuring safe working conditions at construction sites have been recognized by District Labour Inspectorates in Szczecin and Bydgoszcz. It is worth adding that the health and safety policy pursued by Warbud aimed at improving the level of safety, is rated very high by PIP every year, invariably for 10 years.

The jury's verdict was based on the results of two PIP inspections on the above-mentioned construction sites. The assessment covered accident rate, occupational risk, compliance with health and safety rules and regulations on the construction site and site organization.
The main award in the category "Services - Best Contractor Performer" for the Mennica Legacy Tower project was collected by Mr Wojciech Gerber, Member of Warbud SA’s Management Board during a gala held on November 6, 2019 at the Raffles Europejski Hotel in Warsaw.
In this year's 18th edition of the Commercial & International Journal Awards Poland 2019, over 130 nominations were granted to best and most outstanding development and construction projects on the Polish market as well as to companies and agencies operating on the real estate market. The CIJ Awards Poland competition is divided into six main categories: Development & Developer, Teams & Leaders, Services, Leases & Transactions, Materials and Creative Spirit. All nominations were evaluated by a jury consisting of 20 members who finally chose 33 winners.
The CIJ Awards Poland Gala is a recognized event on the Polish and European real estate market of office, commercial, industrial and residential facilities. It is also an annual celebration and a meeting of leading companies creating new projects and a new look at the Polish real estate market. During the event, awards are given not only to the most interesting investments and teams responsible for them but also to most innovative concepts and solutions.
The staff of the Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Poznań was awarded in the "Build Safely" competition. The award was received by Project Manager Mr. Andrzej Szczęsny during a ceremony which took place on February 12 at the Budma 2019 International Poznań Trade Fair.
The competition is organized by the National Labour Inspectorate and Regional Labour Inspectorates. The purpose of the competition is to promote safe and hygienic work conditions on construction sites, to promote building contractors providing safe work places on their construction sites and to contribute to the increase of the general safety level in the construction industry all around the country.
On March 21, in the Zamojski Palace in Warsaw, Mr. Krzysztof Trzaska, Director of Branch North of Warbud’s Centre Region, received on behalf of the Consortium Warbud-Hochtief the statuette TOPBuilder 2019 for the construction of the Museum of the Second World War.
TOPBUILDER is one of the most valued awards on the Polish construction market. The chapter awards with the TOPBUILDER statuette the highest quality products, construction solutions and projects in which modern architectural, constructional, material and technological solutions as well as IT products applicable in architecture and construction have been used. The TOPBUILDER title and statuette are also given to services and financial products as well as projects, initiatives, programs and ventures dedicated to the construction industry.
This year the TOPBUILDER Gala was held for the 11th time and its venue was the seat of the Association of Architects of the Republic of Poland in Warsaw.
Awards of the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk for the best Gdańsk architectural project were handed in on October 16, 2018 at a gala at the headquarters of the Association of Polish Architects SARP in Gdańsk. The title of best architectural project in Gdańsk was awarded to all the participants of the investment process: the investor, designer and contractor of the Museum of the Second World War - the Warbud-Hochtief consortium. The award was collected by Mr Karol Puszerkiewicz - Contract Director responsible for the project.
Warbud received with a silver statuette for the construction of the District Court in Nowy Sącz. The award ceremony took place in Warsaw on Tuesday, May 26. It was the 28th edition of the competition organised by Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians - PZIiTB. The Jury chose best construction projects of the year 2017 in Poland. The award on behalf of Warbud was received by Mr. Paweł Żółtak, Contract Director at DBS and Mr. Piotr Szewczyk, PPP Specialist at Finance and Administration Division.
Proposed projects undergo an assessment procedure covering the quality of work, organization of the building and financing process and the impact of the project on the environment. Verification lasts for a whole year and consists of three stages.
It is worth adding that since 2005 our facilities have been appreciated and honoured by the jury of the competition and have been winning subsequent "construction Oscars".
A hangar for cargo and passenger aircraft with an aircraft apron built by Warbud in Bydgoszcz has been chosen as the winner of the competition 'Budowa na Medal Pomorza i Kujaw 2016' (Top Construction Project of Pomerania and Kujawy Province). The awards gala took place on October 24 in the Raspberry Hall of the "Pod Orłem" Hotel in Bydgoszcz. The basic criteria for choosing the winners are the usefulness and innovativeness of the architectural and functional solutions, quality of construction as well as aesthetic, ecological and economic aspects of projects
Warbud has received as many as five statuettes in the contest "Construction Project of the Year 2015". On 24 May 2016 an award ceremony took place in the 26th edition of the contest organized by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians - PZiTB. The Jury chose best construction projects of the year 2015 in Poland. Among them there were a number of projects built by Warbud. We were again noticed and distinguished by representatives of the construction industry. We should notice that Warbud has won all three main prizes in the category of medical facilities.

On 13 May 2016 in the Zamoyski Palace in Warsaw the Association of Polish Architects SARP honoured the International Congress Centre in Katowice by unanimously granting to the project its ANNUAL AWARD in the category named 'best architectural project implemented in the territory of the Republic of Poland in the year 2015'. The project beat 20 other candidates to the main award selected from among 81 proposals. The awarded project was designed by the studio JEMS Architekci from Warsaw and the general contractor was Warbud S.A.
Warbud received the First Prize for the construction of the Seat of National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice On 11 December 2015 the seat of the Union of Polish Architects SARP was the venue for the awards ceremony in the competition for the best construction project in the year 2014 with the use of the reinforced concrete technology.
Warbud S.A. was represented in the gala by Deputy Directors Mr. Waldemar Piwek and Mr. Dariusz Wysocki who managed the NOSPR construction project.
Warbud got the highest marks for 'an adequate and expressive use of the concrete technology for the construction of the concert hall - the main and most important element of the NOSPR building. The presence of concrete in the architectural space of the interior of the building is dominating, sensible and noticeable from every place of the building.'
Warbud S.A. took first place in the 'Build Safely' contest for popularising safe and healthy conditions of work on the construction site of 'Wroclaw 101' office building situated at 101 Piłsudskiego St. in Wroclaw. The award ceremony was held on 17 December. The objective of the competition is to promote those building contractors who provide safe working conditions
On 26 November 2015 the seat of the Polish Olympic Committee in Warsaw was the venue for the awards ceremony of the 16th edition of the contest "Builder of Polish Sports". One of the winners of the award given by the Sportowa Polska club was the company Warbud S.A. who had won the "Top-Notch Company" title for the construction of the Water Park in Koszalin. Warbud was represented by Mr. Piotr Pazderski - Project Manager responsible for the winning construction project.
In the 25th jubilee edition of the competition Building of the Year, all projects proposed by Warbud got very high marks from the jury. Our firm was the only one who won as many as two golden statuettes in the same category - cultural and art facilities and one silver statuette in the category of health care facilities.

The celebration of the 25th anniversary of the PZITB and the awards gala took place on 23 June 2015 in the historic building of the Association of Engineers and Technicians at Czackiego St. in Warsaw.
Capitol Theatre has won 1st prize in the category of public buildings and the Grand Prize in the Beautiful Wroclaw competition. The award ceremony was held on June 25 in the seat of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Polish Architects. Warbud was represented by Mr Marcin Majewski, site manager and Mr Łukasz Lis, works manager. The purpose of the competition is to promote the architecture of Wrocław and honour particularly important creative achievements. The main criterion for the Jury were the architectural, spatial and functional qualities of the buildings.
Warbud has received six three in the contest "Construction Project of the Year 2012". On 17 June 2013 an award ceremony took place in the headquarters of the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations NOT. This was the 24th edition of the contest organized by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians - PZiTB. The Jury chose best construction projects of the year 2013 in Poland.

Capitol Theatre in Wroclaw was awarded the "First Honourable Mention of the Annual Award given by the Association of Polish Architects SARP under the auspices of the President of Poland Mr. Bronisław Komorowski." The award ceremony was held on May 26 in SARP headquarters. Warbud was represented by Mr. Tomasz Szubert, Contract Manager, who received that award accompanied by architects from KKM Kozień Architekci studio in Cracow and director of Capitol Theatre Mr. Konrad Imiela. The gala was attended by President of the Republic of Poland and a number of outstanding Polish architects.
The construction site of the Military Medical Institute at Szaserów St. in Warsaw has won 1st prize in the competition "Build Safely 2013". The prize award ceremony took place on December 16. Warbud was represented by Mr Lech Wąsowski, Director of DBMed Division and Mr Piotr Pazderski, Contract Manager. The prize was awarded for the execution of the hospital building works in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Warbud has won 1st place for the construction of the Gillette Manufacturing Plant in the Build Safely 2013 competition organized by the Regional Labour Inspectorate in Łódź. The purpose of the competition is to popularize safe and hygienic conditions of work on construction sites and to promote those building contractors who provide safe work places in the process of execution of building works. Warbud S.A. was represented in the awards ceremony, which took place on November 20, by Ms Alicja Starzyńska, Site Manager, Mr Sebastian Lewiński, Manager of the OHS Department and Mr Arkadiusz Ligęza, OHS Coordinator.
Warbud has won 1st place for the construction of the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall in the Build Safely 2013 competition organized by the Regional Labour Inspectorate in Szczecin. The jury chose winners after an analysis of inspection results and hearing opinions of the regional labour inspectors who supervised the sites participating in the competition. The statuette was received by Mr Paweł Sayna, Contract Manager and Mr Bogumił Perliński, Site Manager. The awards ceremony was held on November 20th.
Warbud has won 1st place for the construction of the seat of the Polish Radio National Symphonic Orchestra in the Build Safely 2013 competition organized by the Regional Labour Inspectorate in Katowice. The awards ceremony took place on November 15 during the 16th Construction Gala in the Silesian Opera House in Bytom. Warbud was represented by Mr Bogdan Richter, Deputy Director for Marketing and Mr Łukasz Wojteczek, Deputy Site Manager.
The NoVa Park shopping centre built by Warbud S.A. in Gorzów has been recognized and honoured in the 'Lubuski Mister Budowy 2012' competition as the best new facility in the category of public buildings. The Jury assessed not only the building's architecture and landscaping but also its functionality, fit-out quality as well as the structure and workmanship.
The competition 'Lubuski Mister Budowy,' whose aim is to choose the best building structure in the Lubuskie region, has been organised since 1994. Its objective is to give incentives to investors to regularly increase the quality of their new construction projects.

On 25 June 2013 an awards ceremony was held in the 23rd edition of the competition organized by the Polish Associations of Building Engineers and Technicians - PZITB. The Jury chose the best building projects in Poland in the year 2012.

The building of Warsaw University Faculty of Applied Linguistics and Modern Languages built by Warbud was voted a "Warsaw-Friendly Building" by internet users. The awards ceremony took place on May 11, 2013 in the area of Koszyki Market Hall in Warsaw. It was connected with an event gathering lovers of old and new Warsaw, people fascinated by the history of the city and the fate and renovation of its historic buildings.
Warbud won 2nd Prize in the "Build Safely" competition for the extension of the Children's Hospital at ul. Niekłańska in Warsaw. The statuette was awarded to Mr Piotr Tokarz, Site Manager and Mr Lech Wąsowski, Director of the Public Procurement Division DZP. The winning project was assessed based on critertia encompassing the obervance of OHS regulations on the construction site, usage of non-standard occupational health and safety solutions, the extent and complexity of the building works, the method of elaboration of the Health and Safety Policy and others. The award ceremony took place on 26 February 2013.

The Building of the Year 2010 title and gold statuette in the category "Individually assessed buildings" was awarded to Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, the first building of this kind in Poland.
Silver statuette for the construction of a residential and business complex on ul. Kościelna in Poznan.
Certificate of merit in the category of public buildings was awarded to the Local Court Building in Rzeszow.
Warbud received 1st prize and Silver Drill statuette in the 14th edition of the ‘Platinum Drill’ contest for the construction of the Local Court Building in Rzeszow. The awards ceremony took place on 31 May 2010 in Warsaw.
The environmental project "Czajka" Waste Water Treatment Plant implemented by Warbud has once again been awarded in the "Safe Construction Site" contest. The award ceremony took place on 10 February 2011 in the headquarters of the District Labour Inspection in Warsaw. The statuette was received on behalf of Warbud’s Management Board by Mr Leszek Żelaśkiewicz, Director of the firm’s Technical Office.
Warbud received 2nd prize in the "Safe Construction Site" contest for the modernization and extension of "Czajka" Waste Water Treatment Plant. The contest aims to improve work safety levels in the construction industry and to popularize modern, safe work practices in this field. The Jury assessed among others the health and safety plan, the size and complexity of the building works, the quality of professional risk assessment, the degree of risk identification, effectiveness of supervision over the implementation of health and safety regulations on the construction site. The award ceremony was held on 19 January 2010, during the Budma 2010 construction fairs in Poznan. Warbud was represented by Mr Waldemar Piwek, Deputy Director of the Specialist Construction Division and Mr Mariusz Marjański, Site Manager.
In the 20th jubilee edition of the Building of the Year contest, all projects proposed by Warbud were highly valued by the Jury.

Platinum Drill is a cyclical, nationwide contest for the best building project of a year organized by the firm Bosch-Elektronarzędzia which supports and promotes best building contractors in the Polish market. The prizes, which confirm the highest quality standards, are always awarded to the main contractor and architect of the award-winning project.

Results of the contents were annouced and "Building Oscars" were awarded to the winners on 25 June 2009. The contest, organized by the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers (PZIITB), is one of the most prestigious surveys of achievements of the Polish construction industry.
Warbud received the title and statuette of Eco-Investment Leader in the category "Contractor" for the works performed at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Łódź. The competition is aimed to promote environmentally friendly investors and contractors and support the cooperation of companies with local authorities with respect to environmental protection. Awarded companies strengthen their brands in the environmental construction sector. Honorary patronage over the competition has been taken by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Polish Association of Assistance Funds Beneficiaries.
The 1st stage of construction of the Podlaska Opera House and the European Arts Centre in Białystok executed by Warbud S.A. was awarded with gold statuette in the 14th edition of the Building of the Year contest in the North-East Region. The building won in the category of innovative structural solutions.
Warbud was among finalists of the Modernization of the Year competition for its proposal of adaptation of a part of the main pavilion of the MSWiA Hospital in Warsaw.
The idea behind the contest is to promote the functionality of rebuilt and upgraded facilities, high quality of workmanship and ecological effects, modern technology and design solutions as well as to support activities aimed at saving national heritage buildings. To the 2007 edition of the competition 621 projects were proposed from all around Poland, of which 115 were selected finalists.
Buildings completed by Warbud received prizes in the 18th competition ‘Beautiful Wroclaw’ for the best architectural project of the year 2007. The Jury recognized the Company for
the construction of the Integrated Student Centre of Wroclaw University of Technology and gave it 1st prize in the public buildings category.
the Leopoldinum Residence on ul. Zyndrama z Maszkowic, which received the 1st prize in the category of multifamily residential buildings.
The competition, whose aim is to promote the city’s architecture, is organized by the Society of Wroclaw Friends and the City Mayor. The Jury assessed the architectural, spatial, functional and technical qualities of the buildings. Proposals could be made by every resident of Wroclaw.
Warbud proposed 6 projects to the 18th edition of the competition ‘Building of the Year’ organized by the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers, Ministry of Infrastructure and the Main Office of Building Supervision. Each of the proposed projects was highly valued by the competition Jury.

In the 12th edition of the Platinum Drill competition, the jury awarded to Warbud the second prize - Golden Drill in the category of public buildings for the Energy Management Centre building in Gdansk. Platinum Drill is a cyclical, nationwide contest for the best building project of a year organized by the firm Bosch-Elektronarzędzia which supports and promotes best building contractors in the Polish market who work in accordance with highest quality standards. An independent Jury, composed of engineers, architects and journalists, assesses buildings with outstanding quality of workmanship, design and use of modern materials and technologies. Timely delivery of the buildings is also taken into account as well as a good pace of construction and energy saving and environmental solutions.
On June 21, 2007, a prize award ceremony in the ‘Beautiful Wroclaw 2006’ competition was held in the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw. Prizes were given for the best architectural project implemented in the city. In the 17th edition of the competition Jurors gave the prize to the building of the Institute of Computer Science of University of Wroclaw. Warbud SA carried out the second stage of works on that building.
In the 17th edition of the Building of the Year competition organized by the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers (PZITB), five buildings proposed by Warbud SA qualified for the finals and won prestigious awards including the Grand Prize. The Awards Gala was held in the PZITB headquarters in Warsaw. The building industry ‘Oscars’ were handed out by among others Minister of Construction Mr Andrzej Aumiller and Minister of Transport Mr Jerzy Polaczek. 61 projects were proposed for the competition by general contractors, investors, developers and local authorities.

Warbud won Crystal Brick and first place in the 6th edition of the competition Dom 2006. The best development project on both sides of the eastern EU border was, according to the competition Jury, the Regional Administrative Court building in Rzeszów built Warbud. 74 projects form eastern Poland, Lithuania, the Ukraine and Belarus were proposed for the competition organized by the Polish Housing Association in Lublin. "Crystal Brick" is by far the largest, most representative and most extensive review of construction projects, either new or modernized or revitalized, from among which best projects are chosen and awarded.
Warbud SA received awards for two projects located in Lodz: the Qubus Hotel and the Collective Waste Water Treatment Plant. Diplomas for a safe conduct of the work on the particular projects were awarded to Mr Bogusław Wasilewski, Site Manager of the Collective Waste Water Plant and Mr Piotr Kreutzer, Site Manager of the Qubus Hotel.
The annoucement of the results of the competition organized by the National Labour Inspectorate and the award ceremony took place on 15 November 2006 in Łódź.
The finalists are the construction companies which have proved that they can build safely. The Jury highly valued safety plans prepared by Site Managers, correct professional risk estimation as well as adherence to the regulations and procedures in force.
In the 16th year of the competition, WARBUD SA gained as many as four awards – 3 statuettes (two gold and one silver) and a certificate of merit.
Because of its high prestige, the Building of the Year competition has come to be known in the industry as the "Building Oscars". It is run by the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers in conjunction with the construction and transport ministries and the Central Office of Building Supervision. Entries are graded in three classes, based on criteria which include organization of work, time taken, technological solutions, safety of work and health protection, and the impact of the development on the natural environment. The winning buildings are not merely modern constructions which are in harmony with their surroundings, but above all most be user-friendly.

On 7 February 2006, in Warsaw's InterContinental Hotel, the award ceremony took place for the CEE Real Estate Quality Awards 2005. The competition rewards projects, companies and individuals associated with the real estate industry - the selection criterion is the highest quality in project planning, management and implementation. The competition was open to the developments executed in one of the 11 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. A number of Polish projects were proposed for the competition and some of them were awarded. Among the proposals there was the Fashion House Outlet Centre in Piaseczno built by Warbud. The building has a distinctive architectura, unusual for a shopping mall. Its style resembles Warsaw's Old Town, which increases its attractiveness and makes spending time there so pleasant. Restaurants are an additional attraction for adults and children may spend their time in the Fairytale Maze.
On 14-17 November 2005 in Cannes another MAPIC exhibition took place during which MAPIC Plaza Retail Future Project Awards were given. The second prize in the category best medium-size commercial building was given to our project - the Fashion House Outlet in Gdansk.
The facility, resembling a traditional fishing village, has its own 25-metre high lighthouse. The most important evaluation criteria in the competition were the beauty of the architecture, its visual impact on the environment, ease of access and the number of visitors.
Warbud won 1st prize for the rebuilding of the Stara Papiernia shopping and cultural centre in the nationwide competition organized by the company Bosch-Elektronarzędzia.
Warbud S.A. won 1st prize for the most beautiful residential builiding - METRUM on KEN St. in the Ursynów district of Warsaw. The competition, organized by Ursynów District Authority and the local press, aims to promote an aesthetic sense and good taste in architecture and construction. The competition, now in its fourth year, shows that the local community wants to see new buildings in Ursynow which are not only modern and functional, but also look good.
First prize awarded to WARBUD SA in 7th year of the competition for the renovation and modernization of Stara Papiernia in Konstancin-Jeziorna. The competition aims to promote functionality in renovated buildings, high quality of building and conservation works and environmental impact as well as modern technologies and design solutions. The Organizing Committee particularly appreciated our care and attention with which we carried out conservation work, aimed at saving as much as possible of this historic building after it was seriously damaged by fire. Awards are given to investors, architects and construction firms for preserving national heritage buildings.
The jurors awarded first prize and a gold statuette to Warbud SA’s building at ul. Puławska 435. The competition promotes beautiful architecture in Ursynow, with prizes going to investors, architects and construction firms. More than 20 buildings were nominated, with separate categories for apartment buildings, houses, and public buildings. The honorary patron was Mayor Stanislaw Falinski, and the judging panel was chaired by District Chief Architect Jacek Ryszkowski.
Distinction for excellent quality and organization of work during the building of the Tajfun office block in Warsaw. The competition's organizers include the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers (PZITB) and the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction. It attracts a high level of interest within the construction industry and from the media. The competition is entered every year by the largest companies operating in Poland
Special distinction awarded to Warbud by Murator Plus and the Murator publishing house for the construction of the Warsaw Trade Tower. Apart from the Palace of Culture and Science, this is the only building in Warsaw with a height of more than 200 metres.
In this nationwide competition run by the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers, the jurors awarded us a second prize for our part in the construction of the Atrium Business Centre. Among the factors considered by the jury were quality of execution, the technical solutions used, and time and cost of construction.
