GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

RESIDENTIAL, OFFICE AND INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION: BIGGEST STRUCTURES, BIGGEST CHALLENGES

Over its 30 years of operations, the company has completed more than 550 building projects. Most of them are enclosed buildings: apartments and housing estates, schools, sports facilities, hotels and office buildings, including the tallest skyscrapers in Warsaw. Our company was the general contractor for a number of the most recognizable and prestigious shopping malls in Poland, such as:

  • Arkadia, Galeria Mokotów and Blue City in Warsaw
  • Forum Gdańsk
  • Plaza Poznań
  • Galeria Kazimierz in Kraków
  • or Tarasy Zamkowe in Lublin.

When building complex and technically advanced facilities we remember not only about creating friendly and modern spaces, but also comfortable places to rest and work.

With patient comfort in mind

Health care facilities occupy a special place on Warbud's investment map. In our version these are 21st-century hospitals - as we want to provide medical care in more than decent conditions. We pride ourselves on the construction of over 40 medical facilities throughout Poland. The most important of them are as follows:

  • Warsaw Medical University Paediatric Hospital
  • ·University Dentistry Centre in Warsaw
  • Trauma Centre for Emergency and Disaster Medicine in Kraków
  • Supra-regional Integrated Treatment Center with Bed and Diagnostic Facilities and a helicopter landing pad in Łódź
  • and the new seat of the Jagiellonian University Hospital in Krakow Prokocim. It is one of the largest and most modern medical campuses in Europe with almost 1000 beds.

Culture facilities at the highest level

We have also completed many hotels and culture centre projects. We have in our portfolio the construction of the seat of Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. This is an absolute world leader – in terms of architecture and acoustics, with a top-class concert hall with 1800 seats. Its construction took 1000 days and was a real challenge for Warbud's engineering staff. There is currently no other such music facility in Poland with so many unusual technical solutions, both in terms of functionality, acoustics and project scale. The Szczecin Philharmonic Hall also deserves a special mention – it is a combination of phenomenal architecture with perfection of acoustic parameters. The facility was honoured with the prestigious Mies van der Rohe award in the category of the best building in Europe.
